Christmas Concert

Didn't all the students do a wonderful job at the concert? They worked really hard to get ready for the concert. My favorite part of the concert is always seeing how much fun they have on stage!

What a wonderful performance!

Gingerbread Houses!

I know it has been a while since I have posted any updates, so I decided to use this cold day to update you on the fun we had before Christmas break!

We had so much fun making gingerbread houses! I really appreciate all of the supplies that were donated and all of the parents and grandparents that were able to come in and help out!

And... Here they are! The finished houses!

So much sugary fun!

Fall Field Trip

We were fortunate enough to have a beautiful fall day to be outside!
We started the day at the school forest.

We went on a scavenger hunt.

Did leaf rubbings.

Made a fun owl snack, and more!

Then we went to Schairer's Autumn Acres
Did I already mention it was an absolutely gorgeous day? :)

There were 5 different fun activities that the students got to do.

The Corn Maze

I am happy to announce that no one was lost!

The Petting Zoo

Let me tell you, these are very sweet and patient animals!

The Barn
The barn had lots of fun games that the students got to play.

The Playground
There was a play area full of corn, tractors to ride, a playground, and duck races!

I-Spy Hayride
The students looked for different objects hidden along the way.

At the end of our visit, we all got to pick a pumpkin!

I want to thank everyone who helped make this field trip a huge success!

We all had a wonderful day!

Getting to Know Each Other!

Well, we have all made it through the first couple weeks of kindergarten! We have been spending a lot of time getting to know each other. I helped the students get to know me by reading a book I wrote about my silly dog, Molly. I thought I would post some of our favorite photos, so your child can share them with your family!

Here she is, ready to play some baseball!

Now she is going to ride her bike. She is safe and always wears her helmet!

Molly is also a very graceful dancer!

She also loves to go kayaking! Once again, she is a bit of a "safety pup" and always wears a life jacket!

Molly also likes to help out and mow the lawn for us! We love having her around!

I hope this has helped you to get to know me a little better. I have been having such a good time getting to know your wonderful children. I look forward to getting to know the rest of your family as well!
